How long will it be before I receive my order?
The customer would receive most standard orders within 4 to 6 weeks from the date of order. The 4 to 6 week lead-time is due to the fact that we manufacture most of our standard products to the customer’s requirements (size, colour, etc.). We do not stock inventory of standard products.

If I ordered a product that was a custom size or colour, how long would it be before I received my order?
The customer would receive a custom order within 4 to 10 weeks depending on the order. A number of steps are involved in producing a custom order, new patterns and molds need to be build to the customers specifications, custom colours need to be colour matched at our suppliers lab and all this before production can even begin.

Does FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) burn?
Yes it does, but all Plastiglas products are available made with a fire retardant polyester resin system (available at a 20% upcharge).

How can I clean and maintain the look of my new Plastiglas product?
For interior furnishings the occasional use of a furniture polish (Pledge) will restore shine to the product and remove any scuffmarks. For exterior furnishings the use of an auto wax (Turtle Wax) will restore the finish.*
*These cleaning products are suitable for Plastiglas gelcoat finished products only.

Does FRP rot or decompose?
No, because of the manufacturing of our products they will never rot or decompose. However fading may occur due to environmental factors. We do offer a re-finishing service to our customers. Contact Customer Service for further details.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?
No, all orders will be accepted regardless of its value. Please contact Customer Service if more information is required.

What is your product warranty policy?
We offer a two-year warranty against material and manufactures defects. Plastiglas Industries will repair or replace any such defective merchandise.Packaging damage should be reported upon receipt and recorded on shipping waybill. Claims for shortages or damages must be reported within 5 days of receipt of goods.

Can I bring in my old Plastiglas products to have them re-finished?
Yes, we will re-finish any product that shows signs of fading or environmental damage. Please contact Customer Service for more information.

Is my shipping cost included in my price?
Our prices do not include shipping, but Customer Service will provide a shipping quote upon customers request. Customers also have the option to pick-up their orders. Please contact Customer Service if more information is needed.
